Privacy Policy
In short: We collect only what you send us through our forms or by email, plus limited website analytics. We use it to respond to you and to understand how the site is used. We don't sell your information, don't use it for advertising, and don't add you to a mailing list.
Who we are
This website is operated by 340 Solutions LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (“340 Solutions,” “we,” “us”). It includes our technology consulting pages and a page for in-person notary services. This policy covers both. Questions or requests: info@340solutions.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Consultation request form: your name, email address, organization (optional), sector, and your message.
- Notary appointment request form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), town or area, type of meeting location, number of signers, preferred dates and times (optional), and a short description of the type of document.
- Email: whatever you choose to include if you write to us directly.
Please don't send Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, health or medical information, identification documents, or copies of the documents to be notarized through our forms or by email. We don't need them to respond.
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, how you arrived, and whether you clicked a contact button or successfully sent a form. We send only the name of the action and where it happened on the page. We never send the contents of your form, your name, or your email address to Google Analytics. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information about requests to the site, which typically includes your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs help keep the site running and secure.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and, for notary requests, to arrange and confirm an appointment.
- To understand and improve how the website works and which pages are useful.
- To protect the website and our forms from spam, abuse, and security threats.
- To keep records of our communications and to meet legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, we don't use it for targeted advertising, and we don't add you to a marketing list. If we ever offer a newsletter, we'll ask you to sign up separately. We don't use personal information to train artificial-intelligence or large language models.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run this website. They receive information to provide their services to us, and each also handles it under its own privacy policy and terms:

| Google Workspace (Gmail) | Our business email, where form submissions and your emails arrive | Your messages and contact details |
| Google Analytics | Website usage statistics | Analytics data described above, linked to a random identifier stored in cookies |

Formspree states that it hosts data in the United States and encrypts it in transit and at rest. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We don't otherwise share your information with third parties.

Your choices
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we don't load Google Analytics.
Checking…
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Blocking cookies won't stop the site from working.
How long we keep information
- Emails and form submissions are kept in our business email for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and keep reasonable business records. Formspree also keeps copies of submissions according to its own retention practices.
- Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our account, after which Google deletes it.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting provider according to its practices.
Security
The website uses HTTPS, and forms are sent over encrypted connections. We limit access to our business email and accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information through the website.
Your rights and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@340solutions.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws that apply to us. If we decline a request, we'll explain why, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to that email. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
This website is intended for adults and organizations and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Visitors outside the United States
We're based in the United States and serve U.S. clients. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States and by our providers wherever they operate.
